The Canadian Red Cross Advanced First Aid (AFA) course offered by the Canadian Fire Rescue College is one of the only programs currently offered by the college that is not delivered in a blended delivery format. The entire course is delivered in-person at the CFRC Red Deer Campus (Springbrook), and there is very little pre-reading required leading up to the course.
The AFA course can be taken by anyone who requires this level of training, with virtually no barriers to enrollment. This program is ideal for individuals seeking employment in the Fire Service, and for individuals who may require this level of training at their workplace (first aid attendants).
